Marc R. Slavin is the scion of one of the mid-Atlantic region's oldest and most successful “parking-families”. Marc's grandfather began parking cars in 1923 in downtown Washington, DC. Through attention to detail and a commitment to total customer satisfaction, Michael Edlavitch built a parking empire. Michael Edlavitch passed on his belief in customer service, an honest job, and quality to his grandson. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Parking Association and the Washington Parking Association. Marc Slavin is also an active member of the DCBIA, AOBA, Mount Vernon Triangle, and the DC Chamber of Commerce.
Michael is a valet parking specialist who arrived at MarcParc in 2004 with 6 years experience in the Special Event Valet Parking Field. Michael was responsible for overseeing over 400 special events per year, as well as supervising teams of over 40 employees prior to joining MarcParc Enterprises. Michael is certified by the National Parking Association and currently serves as a member on the Certification Advisory Board with the National Parking Association.
