In 1996 Marc founded MarcParc Inc w/ one parking lot and has grown the parking division to over 50 parking facilities. In 2005, he founded MarcParcValet, a full service valet parking firm, and in 2008 he founded MarcParcTransportation, to cater to growing client demand for a one-stop-shop parking / transportation firm. Marc has extensive experience in all aspects of the parking industry, including designing and overseeing the construction of surface parking facilities and subterranean garages. Marc is a part of one of the mid-Atlantic region's oldest and most successful “parking-families”. Marc's grandfather began parking cars in 1923 in downtown Washington, DC. Marc served on the original NPA certification board and is currently the Board of Directors of the National Parking Association and the Washington Parking Association. Marc Slavin is also an active member of the DCBIA, AOBA, Mount Vernon Triangle, and the DC Chamber of Commerce.
Michael is the co-founder of MarcParcValet. Having grown the company from its early roots into a leader in the valet parking industry, Michael has gained an outstanding reputation for providing unprecedented quality and service. Michael is certified by the National Parking Association and currently serves as a member on the Certification Advisory Board with the National Parking Association.
Todd has spent over 25 years in the Hospitality Industry. He came to MarcParcValet by way of Charleston, SC and oversees both the Special Event and Portfolio Accounts Division. Todd has put together a “First-Class” operations team which has developed top notch valets through MarcParc University, a training program championed through the Operations and Human Resources Division.
Tufan received his B.A. in Accounting and his Masters of Accountancy from Manchester College in Indiana. Tufan is responsible for all aspects of the MarcParc Enterprises financial operations and financial reporting. Tufan has extensive background in the real estate and property management industry. He worked in public accounting as a Certified Public Accountant for 10 years, concentrating in the Commercial and Residential Real Estate Industry. Also, in his private industry experience, he was responsible for the financial over sight and reporting for many commercial buildings located throughout the Washington metro area. Tufan is also a seasoned skydiver training to participate in the next world record for the largest big-way formation. He is also a member of American Institute for Certified Public Accountants, S.C. Association for Certified Public Accountants, and U.S. Parachute Association.
A native of New England, Kathy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Farmington and a Master’s Degree in Labor Relations from the University of New Haven in New Haven, Connecticut. Kathy oversees all aspects of Human Resources at MarcParc Valet to include Special Events, Portfolio Accounts, and Corporate Office staff.
Lawrence served 11 years in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer and his final tour was serving aboard the USS Austin during the Gulf War where he received the Navy Achievement Medal. After separating from the U.S. Navy, he performed in senior manager roles in the banking and retail industries for the next 10 years. Lawrence then begin in the parking industry and comes to MarcParcValet with 7 years of parking experience at progressive levels of management. His most recent parking role was the General Manager for the West Palm Beach International Airport parking operation in West Palm Beach Florida; a 15,000 parking space operation.
Kofi is a graduate of the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. Originally born in Ghana, this long time resident of Maryland has worked his way up through the organization. From Event Manager to Operations Supervisor; each new position has given him a unique perspective and a better understanding of how to successfully manage people and resources. In his current position of Senior Operations Manager-Portfolio Accounts he oversees the day to day operations at all of our full-time accounts.
Ryan started out as a valet and quickly worked his way up to event manager. His humble beginnings now give him an advantage of heading up our on-going employee recruitment. He works with the management team to ensure MarcParcValet recruits, develop and retain the best and brightest in the industry. He also supervises in the field. He grew up in the DC metro area and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2000.
